I'm keeping track of all of the
blogs I'm reading on a
Bloglines Blog. This is a public page so I can share it. This is where RSS feeds become very useful. I don't update any of the content on squidoo or my blogline blog. It updates itself from the RSS Feeds! If anyone wants me to teach them how to set up RSS feeds so that they can quickly monitor information or have their sites updated automatically, I'd be happy to do so in the OPAL Room. (I'm still learning myself.) Just leave a comment below! You'll also notice that this site has RSS feeds so this could be added to bloglines, too. You wouldn't have to keep coming back to this site to see if there is anything new. You would be notified in your bloglines page along with any other sites that have changed. VERY handy!!!
I've built a
squidoo lens for Texas Forums using RSS feeds. I'm not sure how this works and haven't played with it much.
And I have my own
blog for Texas Forums. This has been a great way to document all of the things going on and to provide resources to folks.
Elaine, the TF Web Queen and I share to do lists on
tada!
If you are doing research, you might want to check out my
del.icio.us tags.
I'm also experimenting with
Clipmarks!
Of course Texas Forums is on
flickr. Isn't everyone?!
Innertoob is a great way to make audio interactive. I interviewed Diane Miller about the new web site on May 26, 2007. I called her on skype, used the $15 plug in to record the conversation, uploaded it to Inntertoob, added markers with comments and questions and referred the link to the Webmaster. Check out this
Inntertoob! Innertoob is uprgading and changing to CrowdAbout so I set up an account there and experimented with an
old podcast interview with Diane. This tool is much more user-friendly and interactive. .
And one of my favorite resources is
LibraryThing.org. I've uploaded almost all of my books. Check
out my personal library.
These are just some of the social networking sites I'm playing with.
